When I was 8 years old, my brother took me on my first duck hunt in the marshes and green timber of NE Oklahoma. That day with my single shot Savage 20 gauge, I killed my first duck and I was hooked. After that, I began hunting every game bird the region offered. As an American Indian growing up on the Cherokee Nation, I was taught a special respect and love for the environment and the animals that inhabit it. From the teachings I developed a passion that has lasted 30 years. Over the years, I have gathered a large collection of game calls dating from the late 1800’s to present day. After studying the design concepts developed over the years, I combined the concepts to develop a new unique sound. This is where my slogan “Where the Future Meets the Past” originated. During the 2006-2007 duck season, I noticed that every call in our club and in the fields around our club sounded exactly the same. I began to work on a new tone board design to create a new and unique sound. By combining the design concepts from the calls made in the late 1800’s with the concepts of today, along with my engineering back ground, I created the new and unique sound I was looking for. During the 2006 Christmas break, I began trying some unique reed setups on the Arkansas style tone boards. Starting with metal reeds, I created a very soft and raspy call that will still hail for open water use. I than tried a double metal reed. This was the sound I was looking for. By utilizing Metal reeds with the Arkansas style tone board, the calls are able to maintain the versatility of a traditional Arkansas style mylar reed. Currently, I am designing and developing nine different duck calls, three Canada Goose calls, three Snow Goose and a Specklebelly Goose call. All of these calls range from competition to meat calls. As the duck and goose calls have begun to gain popularity, I have designed a line of turkey and locater calls. I have teamed up with Long Leaf Camo to create a camouflaged barrel and insert. Currently, I have begun the development of a line of predator and deer calls over the next few months.

From killing my first rabbit at 4 and my first dear at 5 hunting was my game and The Hunter is my name! During school I would hurry home to be able to run into the woods to get a evening hunt in, no matter if I killed or I didn't.
I grew up hunting all over the country deer hunting being my passion at the time. From Texas to Kansas I have seen some beautiful land. Bucks being my passion for so long I didn't care about anything else. At the age of 16 my dad bought a duck hunting lease in Welch, La. From the open day of that hunt my life changed and can I tell you it has brought me a long way. Till this day I love duck hunting and I will still go even though its hot and no birds I will go sit with my lab and if I shoot great if not I am still happy. Deer hunting I still have some bucks from a couple of state's I need to put with the rest on the all but it's hard to get away from them ducks! I started guiding when I was 18 for duck hunting and I would be in Texas during the Holidays working on a ranch. I also helped out a few high game fences in Louisiana with some buddies in high school to make some extra cash in the school year. At 23 I was a cameraman for the TV show Redneck Adventures which led into my own show Called The RedNeck Rascals. A year later I was asked to run a lodge in Clayton, La called Cypress Point Hunting Lodge. A wonderful place for deer and duck hunting between Louisiana's two major rivers. I am Pro Staff for some great company's in industry including Gator Trax Boats, Sport Dog Brand, Long Leaf Camo, No Scents, Outdoors Without Limits, Stoeger Shotguns and a couple of more. I also get to go to a lot of outdoor shows to rep these great products and meet a lot of great people. I have also done taxidermy since 1971.I got hooked on Varmint hunting 24 years ago and every time I go, I still have the rapid heartbeat and anticipation as the first hunt I went on! I have a local guide service in this area (Memphis).
I conduct predator hunting seminars to educate area hunters and get them involved in this fast growing sport that I love so much.
I guess my fascination with it is because there are few times in life that the hunter actually becomes the hunted. We have created a series of calls at White Eagle we think will work for you and make your hunts more successful. GOOD HUNTING !
Born into a family of outdoorsmen, I was introduced to the outdoors at an early age. Weekend camping and hiking trips turned into squirrel and rabbit hunts in the bottomlands of Arkansas as soon as I could fire a gun. Some 30 years ago I was introduced to duck hunting and Labrador retrievers. I have not kicked the addiction to either.
Each September I get as excited for opening of teal season as I did 30 years ago. I still remember the lessons taught me by those hardcore duck hunters way back when. Always go where the ducks want to be, decoys must be perfect and always sound like a duck.
As a professional retriever trainer and guide I appreciate quality and the ability to sound realistic. White Eagle Game Calls has developed a series of quality, realistic sounding calls that will put the ducks on the water. The rest is up to you!! Always enjoy the outdoors and be safe.

Kyle Carpenter, 24 years old, was born and raised in Sand Springs, OK. Married to Meagan Carpenter and now live in Broken Arrow, OK. Shot my first greenhead on my first duck hunt at the age of 8. Shortly after submerging myself completely, trying to walk in my dads waders. My dad taught me everything about hunting and got me started hunting everything from deer to rabbits, squirrels and ducks. Duck hunting is the one that ended up taking control of my life and now I’ve been stuck in a blind with my buddies for 17 years. For the most part I hunt all over the state of Oklahoma, but every now and then you’ll catch me in parts of Kansas, Arkansas, and Texas and soon to be up on the stage.

My Name is Jennifer Latzke. I was born and raised in Minnesota. I started going along in the duck boat with my dad when I was 7. I was allowed to shoot when I was 11 and I shot my first duck opening day. By then I knew that duck hunting would quickly become an obsession! Duck hunting is by far my favorite hunting. After that I got into some small game hunting such as rabbits and squirrels. I really enjoyed being outdoors and spending quality time in the woods or in the duck blind with my dad. When I was 16, I started rifle hunting for deer. I have not gotten any monster bucks yet, but I’ll keep working at it. I will hopefully be getting into bow hunting soon so I can spend even more time in the woods in pursuit of the rush of adrenaline that the hunt brings. Dad has always instilled in me that being in touch with the outdoors whether it was through fishing, hunting, or just being out in nature, is such and important thing and will last a lifetime. Because nature is so important to me, I have earned a degree in Natural Resource Management, and am currently pursuing a degree in Water resource management.
Blake Shankle is blessed with two wonderful girls (Kaydance - 4 and Madison - 1) and a lovely wife (Mandi) who don't get to see him very often during the winter due to, well do we even have to say. Nick and Blake have been guiding on and off for about 5 to 6 years now. He has been hunting and calling right along side Nick for about 10 years now. My name is Jay G. I am soon to be 30 years old. My pride and joy are my wife Donna and my daughter Ellie. They truly are blessings. I am reminded often that I only rule the household because they say so.

The best part about the outdoors is admiring God’s awesome creation. It’s an added bonus to be able to spend time with friends and family especially future hunters. Take a youngster and introduce them to a way of life.

Before I could even carry a gun, I began deer and turkey hunting with my dad. I also spent a lot of time in the outdoors with my grandfather, fishing on the Tennessee River and running deer with beagles. I owe my love of the outdoors to both of them. I love hunting deer, turkey, dove, hog, squirrel and rabbit and setting the hook on a largemouth. Although I do still enjoy these things, as they say, “I’d rather be duck hunting”.

There are three areas you must master in duck hunting. The first is blending with your surroundings, the second is realistic decoys, and the third is sounding like a duck. Michael takes care of the third by hand tuning every call, producing the most realistic easy to blow calls available.

Craig Davis is an avid hunter from Eagleville, TN. Born and raised in nearby Shelbyville, hunting has been a part of his life since he was eight years old and went on his first deer hunt with his father. He’s been actively hunting waterfowl for more than 10 years now, but also tries to find the time to hunt turkeys, deer and other small animals. His wife, Kendra, jokes that, “If it has an open season, Craig is going to find a way to go hunting!”

Part of the joy Craig finds in hunting, other than just being outdoors, is being able to share his knowledge with other hunters, regardless of age. If he’s not in the woods during his free time, you can more than likely find him near his favorite fishing spot. He looks forward to one day being able to take his nephews and children out and teach them hunting tactics, fishing and about nature in general.
